Bamboo Fun Cte 450 Tablet Driver For Mac
Hey,I have found out a solution, worked on my bamboo CTL-671. Here is the steps: 1)Download the 5.3.6-6.dmg file and mount it 2)install the pkg, and it will fail, KEEP the dmg mounted 3)Download the “Pacifist” and use it to extract the package inside the pkg 4)You will need to copy the extracted file to the destiny folder by yourself(e.g. The “contentver” file inside the package should be copy to /tmp use Shift+Command+G), then you will need to double click the PenTablet.prefPane and select change in the System Preference. 5)Reboot your computer and everything will be just fine.
May have bugs but it worked! P.S:At first, I thought it’s the changed of system SDK led to the installation failure but not the driver itself, and now it seem that the result support my theory. In fact, if Wacom is willing to let bamboo users use their bamboo on Sierra, they just need to update some specific scripts. So now you can see that it’s not about the incompatible driver make us embarrassed, but the bad attitude towards bamboo users. There was an old saying in China “Sharp tools make good works.工欲善其事,必先利其器”, for now, we can’t expect Wacom will care about the cheap module bamboo, so if possible, just go ahead and buy a new cintiq or intuos, they can always get the new official driver first(Certainly there has no thirty-party driver) There is also a solution——use the Windows, though I thought install a Windows on a Mac is a disgrace to the Mac, sometimes it has advantages.
I prefer to install Windows in EFI mode to the external thunderbolt hard drives, you can also use the Parallels Desktop or just using the Bootcamp. Thanks for your reading, sorry for my poor English, hope you can understand and it will be of help to you! And please pass this solution to more bamboo mac users! I got informed by macOS Sierra that my previous driver (5.3.6-6) wasn't compatible when I upgraded this weekend. So I removed the driver using Wacom's utility (as recommended), then downloaded and installed the newest driver, (5.3.7-6). It installs Ok, but says it can't find my Bamboo One (CTE-660). Dug out my older Bamboo tablet (MTE-450A), plugged it in, and that works.
What's really confusing is that there are multiple entries on the Bamboo drivers page at but they all seem to link to the same driver download. Clearly, this driver's not designed for the Bamboo One, does Wacom have a driver available that does support it on macOS Sierra? Apple Footer. You get what you need from here: if you download and save the file, it ends up in your Downloads directory the commands are: cd Downloads tar xjvf input-wacom-0.21.0.tar.bz2 cd input-wacom-0.21.0./configure the next step sounds very daunting 'sudo cp.//wacom.ko /lib/modules/`uname -r`/kernel/drivers/input/tablet' but from memory, the script builds it for you and just click to accept my memory was that the next step was only for a serial device.' Sudo cp.//wacomw8001.ko /lib/modules/`uname -r`/kernel/drivers/input/touchscreen'.and I didn't run it.but I could be wrong. The next step is crucial. Hi pdc2 I am sorry for being so late into this post, but I have just purchased a Wacom Intuos Pro and I have tried to follow your instructions, but fail.
I have managed to get down to./configure which all went well. I am stuck at the next line the next step sounds very daunting 'sudo cp.//wacom.ko /lib/modules/`uname -r`/kernel/drivers/input/tablet' but from memory, the script builds it for you and just click to accept I tried 'sudo cp.//wacom.ko /lib/modules/`uname -r`/kernel/drivers/input/tablet', but that did not work either. I do not understand any of this so is it possible to explain it any better.
I have tried a few different options but always fail with 'no such file or directory' I downloaded input-wacom-0.23.0, my kernel is 3.13.0-24-generic. Hi pdc2, I have just tried the following 'sudo cp./3.13.0-24-generic/wacom.ko /lib/modules/`uname -r`/kernel/drivers/input/tablet' the reply was keith@keith-Z97X-UD5H-BK /Downloads $ 'sudo cp./3.13.0-24-generic/wacom.ko /lib/modules/`uname -r`/kernel/drivers/input/tablet' bash: sudo cp./3.13.0-24-generic/wacom.ko /lib/modules/3.13.0-24-generic/kernel/drivers/input/tablet: No such file or directory I will have a few more tries today and see if I can make any progress. If you can offer any more help I would be grateful Best regards Keith.

Hi pdc2 I have just run your 4 commands again. Entering./configure scrolls through a lot of files ending with the following lines. There were NO prompts just a long list of what it was doing. Hi pdc2 firstly thank you for your patience. At the moment when I open 'The Gimp', under preferences/input device I have 5 entries for Intuos. They are wacom intuos pro L Finger Touch wacom intuos pro L Pen Cursor wacom intuos pro L Pen Eraser wacom intuos pro L Pen Pad wacom intuos pro L Pen Stylus I will carry out your last reccomendation of sudo cp 3.7/wacom.ko /lib/modules/3.13.0-24-generic/kernel/drivers/input/tablet Now in tablet, the file wacom.ko shows that it was accessed and modified today. So all seems well.

It has not made any difference to what I have available in 'The Gimp' I think that from now on I have to learn how to use the tablet, as well as getting a better understanding of Linux in general. Many thanks for all of your help. Best Regards Keith.
