Nicki Minaj Ricky Martin For Mac

I can’t wait to pick this one upAt last Update, the total raised was $140M+ for HIV charities, and its all localized, so it really does affect YOUR community. (Here in AZ, if I remember correctly, it goes to SAAF, the Southern Arizona AIDS Fund.) They should have a new total when I go again on Sunday.

Love this color, looks so pretty! Without the blue undercast that Gaga1 had, this shade is totally wearable for most skin tones and perfect for spring/summer!!

(Also personally thrilled this is a satin and not a lustre finishmmm, pigment.drool. ) You look great, your highlights have exploded and multiplied, I love it!! Iv been waiting for this since I heard that David Lachapelle was doing the promo photography, and it’s finally almost here!! Though from what I saw oft he promo photo online, I wish he’d pushed the envelope more. I saw an exhibition of his when I was studying in Paris, and he has some amazing work!! I love MAC’s dedication to their AIDS fund, whenever the other Estee brands do their breast cancer month promotions, it really bothers me how much profit they still make. Like, really Estee, you can only donate 20% of your Breast Cancer Foundation packaged products?

And this year Origins repackaged their Make A Difference cream, in a smaller size that was more per ounce than their usual jar, and only donated $5 per jar to the foundation. I love MAC because they actually care a lot about their cause, whereas when other brands, Estee’s children included, do something, it feels bandwagon-ey. VIva Glam, and also their real push to encourage customers to recycle (Back to MAC). The Mac girls at my store also hold little fundraisers with the Macy’s employees for the Mac aids fund, and volunteer in the community through the company. I love it 🙂 I also like that if I buy a Viva Glam lipstick, and my gf says “baaabe, did you buy more makeup?!” I can say “nope, babe, I made a $15 donation to charity and got a free lipstick for it!” LOL I’m super excited for this lipstick, the color is SO CUTE!

The MAC AIDS Fund announces Nicki Minaj and Ricky Martin as its newest spokespersons to represent the 2012 VIVA GLAM campaign launching in February 2012. The two are on a set in Miami today shooting the campaign visuals with David La Chappelle. To date the fund has raised $224 Million exclusively through the sale of its VIVA GLAM lip products donating 100 percent of the sale price to fight HIV/AIDS. What do you think of the newest spokespersons? Who would you choose to represent the MAC Aids Fund? You may also enjoy.

About the Muse Isabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model.
